The time between sunrise and sunset is a daily gift.

While both going through a tough place in our lives, we became more and more aware of the need to regain control of our days...to ensure each one mattered. From this soul searching an incredible trip was born - it became a ray of hope that kept us going; a light on which to focus.

Songs about distant shores calling, following the sun, and taking time to simply breathe really resonated; the lyrics begged us to stop in our tracks to look up and out.

When thinking of a name for our journey, we always came back to sun and light.  Based out of the live music capital of the world, Austin, Texas, it is not surprising that the other theme that emerged was music.

Life, like a well-composed song, has a start and a finish. The time in between those dates are what we can influence. Our playlists began to fill with songs inspiring us to seize the day! Possible names for our trip incorporated lyrics from these songs...and the journey itself soon became our very own World Tour!
