Cœurs et lumière - KK

The person  beside you has a story. We met a woman, my same age, on her honeymoon alone. Her husband died five months ago and this was supposed to have been their delayed but planned trip around some of the world. While she almost cancelled she decided to make the trip in search of her new path and to spread his ashes in all the places he loved and wanted to love.

As she travels on her own, she is also looking for found hearts in all things, such as stumbling on a gate with a heart or a cloud that appears in the shape of a heart. She feels he is reaching out to her in these moments. It's funny, I've always found and looked for hearts in nature--river rocks and cactus, for example. So her quest touched me. Hearts really are everywhere and it's important to share ours with others.  Tomorrow isn't promised. She certainly talked about that.

Hearts, like light, are best when shared. Both have a multiplier effect.

She probably has no idea what an impact she had on me but I've thought a lot about her courage and her path. Today I send a heartfelt thank you to the woman on our tour for being a reminder of what matters. #shareyourheart

"More than one way home" -- Keb Mo

There's more than one way home Ain't no right way, ain't no wrong
And whatever road you might be on
You find your own way 'cause there's more than one way home
